Where it started

Coastal Eats Group runs five busy venues along the coast, each taking a mix of phone, walk-in and online bookings. Staff were manually consolidating bookings across spreadsheets and a shared inbox, spending up to two hours a day per venue just keeping the calendar accurate — time that should have gone into service. No-shows were also creeping up, with no automatic reminder process in place.

The solution

What we did

We implemented a connected reservations system across all five venues, automated booking confirmations and reminders, and built a simple automation that flagged high-risk no-show bookings for a personal follow-up call. Reporting was centralised so head office could see performance across every venue from one dashboard, without chasing individual managers.

Where they landed

Booking admin dropped from roughly two hours a day per venue to a few minutes of oversight. No-shows fell sharply thanks to automatic reminders, and head office finally had accurate, real-time visibility across the whole group — something that had never existed before.
